The Migration Hub is one of the research hubs of the Yonsei Institute of Population and Human Capital (IPHC). Established in 2026 with the support of the Bong&Sul Initiative, the Hub advances evidence-based immigration policy in Korea.
As Korea faces rapid population aging and a shrinking workforce, migration has become central to its economic and social future. The Hub brings together researchers across economics, political science, sociology, business, and medicine to study migration from multiple angles — its effects on labor markets and public finances, the integration of immigrants over time, and the social dynamics between migrants and native Koreans.
The Hub funds collaborative research projects, hosts workshops and conferences, and trains the next generation of migration scholars through its ACE Student Fellows program.
