El Muro Digital is a choice-driven electronic literature piece following two siblings on a fraught journey to the U.S. border during a family medical emergency. It explores the agonizing decisions shaped by systemic barriers, family separation, and the invisible borders of the migrant experience.
El Muro Digital explores how bureaucratic systems and technological divides act as insurmountable barriers for separated families. The interactive narrative places the reader within the agonizing constraints of a cross-border medical emergency, exposing the invisible walls of language, resources, and distance that fracture relationships and deny the basic right to say goodbye.

Medium: Electronic Literature / Digital Art
Migrantes is an interactive electronic literature piece combining social media messages and moving images over a map of Mexico. It evokes the fragmented and shifting narratives of migration, displacement, and human resilience.
Migrantes explores how digital platforms become both spaces of connection and instruments of control in the experience of migration. The piece visualizes the constant motion and ephemerality of migrant stories, giving voice to the many journeys that shape contemporary mobility.
This project was developed as part of the Electronic Literature course, inspired by Leonardo Flores’s Juracán Boriqueño (2023).
Text fragments were collected from public messages on X (formerly Twitter).
