Ice Skating
Along with piano, this was a activity Eno excelled at. And unlike piano it was a sport Eno chose for themselves instead of their controlling parents. It gave Eno the freedom they lacked, made them feel like themselves. It, like piano helped them to reflect and find peace in the difficulties of finding themselves.
Instruments
As a child Mieno had the sweetest old piano teacher, Mrs. Mori. Who along the road also taught her a bit of violin. They enjoyed the beauty of how a note could reach a person's mind.
Gardening
Gardening has long since been a favorite pastime of Mieno. Taking care of something so it blossoms to its fullest resonates deeply its meaning in them. They also enjoy the strolling and casual practice of flower picking. Of course it seems like a darker hobby once you have raised plants yourself. But somewhat there is beauty in taking a flower from the ground.
Pottery
The arts were strongly praised in Mieno’s household. Taking up one “concrete” form was considered standard. They choose Pottery because being able to shape and craft a beautiful piece with your own has was very appealing.
Writing
In some ways, writing saved Mieno. Having not someone they could confide in as a child, being able to write down their feelings was a sort of relief they were thankful to have.
