From Monday, March 4 to Friday, March 29, we invite you to partake in our Wordle Hurdle Series: March Madness Edition! Every weekday in March, we’ll ask you to solve a Wordle puzzle and complete the associated Lexercise using the day’s Wordle word. So, what’s the competition, you ask? Here’s how it works:
Each of the 16 schools (the “Sweet 16,” if you will) invited to participate will be paired against each other. Your school’s job is to earn more Wordle Lexercise entries for the week than your opponent. The school that collects the most Wordle entries for the week will advance to the next head-to-head pairing. We will reset everyone’s entries each week, so everyone has a fair shot each week!
You get guaranteed points for every completed Wordle, as well as a chance to win a $100 gift card and up to 1000 Lexis Rewards points. Winning schools will also qualify for even more points and prizes.
See below the bracket for the full rules and prize list!

If you complete at least one Wordle Lexercise correctly during this period, you will be entered into a school-specific sweepstakes to win a *$100 gift card.
Each correctly completed Wordle Lexercise is an additional entry into your school-specific sweepstakes to win a *$100 gift card. In other words, five completed Wordles means you have five chances to win. Twenty completed Wordles means you have twenty chances to win. And if you complete all twenty Wordles, you are entered into an additional school-specific sweepstakes to win 1000 Lexis Points.
As an added bonus, you will earn 10 Lexis Points for each completed Wordle Lexercise. We will award these Lexis Points at the end of the competition.
Of course, your school is competing against other schools in the Midwest. And we want to reward the schools that work together to take home the glory.
From the first-place school, we will pick one person to win a *$250 gift card, and three people to win 1000 Lexis Points.
From the second-place school, we will pick one person to win a *$150 gift card, and three people to win 750 Lexis Points.
Of course, these schools will be the ones that advance to the last head-to-head challenge. So, how will we determine a third-place winner? “Losing” teams, you still matter! The third-place school will be the school that collects the most Wordle entries the last week of the competition (March 25-29). Remember though, even if you lose a head-to-head battle, you’ll still want to complete the daily Wordle Lexercises to earn Lexis Points and entries!
From the third-place school, we will pick one person to win a *$100 gift card, and three people to win 500 Lexis Points.
As a reminder, we’ve weighted each school’s entries based on student population. That way, even if you are a 200-student school going up against a 1000-student school, everyone still has a chance to win! We are so excited to see what school will clench the W!
