Welcome to the Mid-State Collaborative
The Mid-State Collaborative (MSC) encompasses the counties of Inyo, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Mono, San Benito, Monterey, Santa Cruz, Stanislaus, and Tulare. Tulare County Office of Education serves as the lead agency for the Mid-State Collaborative. The Mid-State Collaborative is one of nine regional efforts.Â
The Lead Agencies work together to support common goals for all counties and also connect COEs to other initiatives within California's System of Support. These goals include:
Support the continuous improvement of student performance within the state priorities across student groups.
Address the gaps in achievement between student groups.
Improve outreach and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that goals, actions, and services as described in school district and COEs Local Control and Accountability Plans reflect the needs of the community, especially for historically under-represented or low-achieving populations.
Serve as a facilitator, resource connector, and capacity builder for COEs.
The Mid-State Collaborative provides professional learning opportunities to build capacity and provide support across our geographical-lead area.
