This is a mod guide for the Nerf Bigshock that turns it into an Atlantis (Modified Bigshock), which allows it to shoot two kinds of ammo: Mega Darts and Rival Rounds.
Things you will need:
Nerf Mega Bigshock
A Screwdriver
Needle-Nose Pliers
Step 1. Unscrew all the screws on the shell.
Step 2. Butterfly the shell open, and after you butterfly it open, you will see that it is indeed, a giant jolt.
Step 3. Unscrew the two screws on the bottom of the blaster core, and the entire bottom piece should pop out, along with the priming mechanism.
Step 4. Take out the spring at the bottom of the hole in the shell with your pliers. It's inside near a plastic piece. When you grab it don't be afraid to pull as hard as you can until it comes out. The spring basically holds no function so throw it out. If you did this correctly you will hear rattling when you shake it.
Step 5. Take out all the plastic pieces at the bottom of the hole with the needle nosed pliers. Some of them might not fit in the hole, so you will need to break some of them. Take out all the plastic pieces in that hole. It helps if you grab it with the pliers and twist and pull back at the same time, to help break the pieces. These plastic pieces are part of the Smart AR system. All it does is prevent you from firing different ammo, and makes dry firing not damage the blaster as much.
Step 6. Look down the barrel of the blaster. You should see a long prong coming out. Now, some of this prong is important because it keeps the blaster from jamming, but some of it restricts you from firing other ammo, such as rival rounds. So cut ALMOST all of the prong off. That way it doesn't jam, but now you can fire rival rounds out of it.
Step 7. Put the bottom piece back in the blaster. When you shove it in, you will need to hold down the trigger so it goes in, then keep a finger on it while screwing it back into place so it doesn't pop out.
Step 8. This step is optional. Either keep the core blaster out of its shell to make it more compact and easy to access the internals, or put it in its shell for the looks and on board storage. (You can fit three rival balls in the storage, or you can put in one mega dart.) With it in the shell, you can also paint the shell.
The mod is complete! One final note, now that the smart AR is removed, it's bad for the blaster if you dry fire it, so try not to, and if you have small children in your house, you probably shouldn't let them use it. Enjoy your Atlantis!
