Donny is one of the librarians at Rock Bridge High School in Columbia. Donny has been working in school libraries since 2021. Donny taught Spanish in California until 2007 when he moved to Columbia, MO. He has been a Spanish teacher and an Instructional Technology Specialist for12 years before becoming a libararian 4 years ago.

Julie turned volunteering in school libraries into a second career and is a proud graduate of the UCM program with her master's in library science and specialist degree in professional leadership. She is starting her 6th year working in the Hickman High School Library and 2nd year as one of the librarians. Book loves include historical fiction and mystery, but she is also an unapologetic beach read junkie and would love to live in an Elin Hilderbrand novel. Outside of the library world, you can find her managing a fantasy football league, working to improve Columbia's drinking water through COMO Safe Water Coalition, chasing her 12th grade daughter around golf courses, and supporting her son in his sophomore year at Wichita State.

Melissa is starting her fourth year as a librarian with over 20 years in education. She grew up in Central Missouri, has two kids, two dogs, and a husband who constantly questions her sanity. Passions include dinosaurs, plants, pugs, and reading and writing. She is also the 23-24 secretary for the Gateway Readers Award Committee. She enjoys reading YA (she better enjoy it), loves fantasy, and will probably read whatever you suggest even if it isn't fantasy. You can find her on Instagram and TikTok.
