Meet the Chaplain

Chaplain Hoehler graduated from University of Missouri, Columbia in 1987. He was a lifelong member at Trinity, Jefferson City until 2006, when he entered Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He worked most of those years, in Jefferson City, assisting people with developmental disabilities. In 2010 he graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis and received a call to the Central Illinois District, where he served until 2024 when he retired. Since then he has assisted with preaching and visiting various LCMS churches in the Mid-Missouri area. In May 2026 Rev. Hoehler became our fifth Chaplain.
