The first 25-30 minutes of our lessons is dedicated to instructing students on the topic through presentations.
Next, we focus on an activity related to the topic. These activities incite students to think critically and work together.
In the last 5-10 minutes of our lessons, we engage students in a discussion about the class' topic and attempt to find some sort of middle ground between differing ideas.

Our second class will cover the fundamentals of the American government and how it functions. This class will cover why our system is set up the way it is and how different parts of it interact with each other. This class will provide participants with the necessary knowledge on our governments structure and will contextualize future topics.

Our first lesson covers an introduction to current American political ideologies, truly exploring what conservatism or liberalism mean. We will elaborate on these ideologies by observing trends in recent politics and politicians. Learning about the major political ideologies in our country will help students contextualize and better understand future topics in a nuanced way.
