Proposal

The town Firehouse Building Committee has received proposals to solve the deficiencies presented.  These proposals provide the following:

• Adequate space and technology to provide effective service for the next 50 years.

• Proper room for vehicles and personnel, limiting potential injuries and increase response times.

• Minimize exposure to cancer causing contaminates with proper facilities and containment strategies.

• Having appropriate living quarters for a divers workforce to be utilized by multiple town agencies.

• Updated and energy efficient electrical and mechanical systems.

• A fire suppression system.

• Full emergency operations center (EOC)

• Fully compliant emergency exhaust system with carbon monoxide and nitrogen monoxide detection.

• New emergency generator to support the building systems.

• New central air condition for temperature control for community amenities.
