Summer Reading is all about Choice, Connection, and Celebration!

Our goals this year for the Middle School Summer Reading program are to provide a multitude of book choices for our students to dive into, to nurture the connections made through and with books, and to celebrate how much fun it can be to read or listen to a great book.  

The Middle School Language Arts Department and the Middle and Upper School Librarian, Liz Proctor, along with a slew of kids have laid eyes on SO many books put in front of them this spring.  We are excited to present a varied assortment of books to the Middle School community, AND we think that there is something here for everyone.

We will come together as a Middle School community at the start of the school year to create a display on the exterior library wall of everything that our community has read over the summer.  It’s gonna be great!

Instructions for summer reading are as follows:

1. Browse through the lists of suggested books for summer reading on our summer reading site.

2. Choose ONE book to read over the summer.  Don’t see something you want to read on our website?  You can choose a book to read that is not listed on the summer reading website.

3. Click here to fill out a form identifying your summer reading choice.

4. Get reading or listening to your book!

*You and your family are responsible for obtaining the book you choose to read.*
