I have a few in my gallery that are pretty good but I've seen some others online that are just better. But I can't find them high resolution. So, do you guys have any links for hi-res accurate and detailed maps of ME?

Bummer to hear that, its never enjoyable for campaigns to fall apart. Our campaign is going to happen in Harlindon, Minhiriath, and Enedwaith, Third Age. That map is just stunningly wonderful and I wish someone had it on the internet at a high resolution.

We advocate that the monitoring of reservoirs be operationalized at high spatio-temporal resolution (10 m in space and weekly in time). We demonstrate the potential uses of such monitoring via several possible examples, including claims regarding water scarcity, drought early warning, response, and food insecurity; and transboundary water conflicts and cooperation. We also demonstrate that our satellite analysis can be operationalized to near real-time and that all use cases are viable with automated operations.

We have for the first time established and applied analytics to large amounts of satellite data, to monitor a total of 71,208 small to medium-sized reservoirs (sizes varying from 0.01 to 100 km2), with a revisit frequency of at least one week (though the actual observation frequency varies depending on the satellite image availability and quality). For reference, we consider a size of 10 ha to be small, similar to the minimum size of lakes in the HydroLAKES database31. We use a combination of remote sensing image processing algorithms on multi-petabyte satellite datasets and cloud analytics through the GEE platform. Recent work on mapping dams and reservoirs so far has focused on the identification of dams and reservoirs30,31. Studies focusing on higher-resolution surface water dynamics of reservoirs at a global scale have mainly researched a smaller number of reservoirs25,26. In our study, we combine data from multiple Landsat and Sentinel satellites to ensure revisit times are short enough to assess the status of reservoirs. We collate a set of reservoirs in the form of geospatial polygons from several dam and waterbody datasets, and per reservoir establish image-to-image surface water area estimates over non-cloudy areas, followed by a filling of remaining occluded pixels using the probability of surface water occurrence18. The entire method is described in the Methods section. We perform validation for four countries (Spain, India, South Africa and the USA) and 768 reservoirs in total, resulting in high goodness of fit between satellite-derived surface water area dynamics and daily in-situ water level and storage measurements with the r2 values larger than 0.7 for 67% of reservoirs used in the validation study, indicating that the surface water area can be used as a proxy of storage in many situations when analyzing reservoir storage dynamics.

Chertsey, UK., 6 January, 2006 - Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) today announced The Lord of the RingsTM, The Battle for Middle-earthTM II Collector's Edition - the first ever Collector's Edition DVD release from the highly successful The Lord of the Rings franchise. The sequel to last holiday's critically acclaimed PC game is filled with exclusive The Lord of the RingsTM game content that will offer fans an opportunity to delve into parts of the Middle-earth they've never seen before.

o Gorgeous high resolution map of Middle-earth created exclusively for the game - "Good" side lists out all the campaign locations from the good campaign while the "Evil" side lists out its campaign locations and descriptions

For this game we use a frametime run with Ultra image quality settings, the highest possible quality mode. We will test a good number of cards in this D3D11 compatible title performance wise. Games typically should be able to run in the 40 FPS range combined with your monitor resolution. From there on-wards you can enable/disable things if you need-more performance or demand even better game rendering quality.

Our panel of internal judges at Wizards of the Coast will examine each submission and select the top three from the pool. These winners will be highlighted in a future article on the WPN website. And the best part? The three selected stores will win an uncut foil sheet of rare and mythic cards from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth!

Next up is Middle-earth: Shadow of War, the sequel to Shadow of Mordor. Developed by Monolith, whose last hit was arguably F.E.A.R., Shadow of Mordor returned them to the spotlight with an innovative NPC rival generation and interaction system called the Nemesis System, along with a storyline based on J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium, and making it work on a highly modified engine that originally powered F.E.A.R. in 2005.

Using the new LithTech Firebird engine, Shadow of War improves on the detail and complexity, and with free add-on high resolution texture packs, offers itself as a good example of getting the most graphics out of an engine that may not be bleeding edge. Shadow of War also supports HDR (HDR10).

I don't say that purely out of inverse snobbery towards those who passionately believe that higher graphical settings make for a meaningfully better game, but because the difference in this specific case really is incredibly subtle. Time was that the PC version of multi-platform games really did suffer on a textures front due to a development that had prioritised the extremely low RAM/VRAM of the then-consoles, and so a big 'ol pack of new textures would make an immediate and constant difference, but that age is pretty much behind us now - plus the advent of the Xboxx and PS4 Pro means games like SOW are being specifically developed with very high resolutions in mind anyway.

Lumachrome technology is simply the most superior photographic printing method available today. This archival process features vivid, brilliant colors lasting over 120 years with incredible 3D depth and dimensionality. When lit with quality lighting, the reactive properties of this material make it literally come alive with a glowing response that is absolutely stunning. Coupled with the revolutionary TruLife abrasion resistant acrylic which drastically reduces reflections and glare and blocks up to 99% of UV rays, these breathtaking works of art offer incredible depth, color and clarity for the highest resolution viewing experience possible. A recessed float frame mounted on the rear makes the print appear to 'float' on your wall for an awe-inspiring, contemporary presentation. Accompanied separately with a hand-signed, laminated certificate of authenticity. Arrives ready to hang.

Electromagnetic energy, produced by the vibration of charged particles, travels in the form of waves through the atmosphere and the vacuum of space. These waves have different wavelengths (the distance from wave crest to wave crest) and frequencies; a shorter wavelength means a higher frequency. Some, like radio, microwave, and infrared waves, have a longer wavelength, while others, such as ultraviolet, x-rays, and gamma rays, have a much shorter wavelength. Visible light sits in the middle of that range of long to shortwave radiation. This small portion of energy is all that the human eye is able to detect. Instrumentation is needed to detect all other forms of electromagnetic energy. NASA instrumentation utilizes the full range of the spectrum to explore and understand processes occurring here on Earth and on other planetary bodies.

Radiometric resolution is the amount of information in each pixel, that is, the number of bits representing the energy recorded. Each bit records an exponent of power 2. For example, an 8 bit resolution is 28, which indicates that the sensor has 256 potential digital values (0-255) to store information. Thus, the higher the radiometric resolution, the more values are available to store information, providing better discrimination between even the slightest differences in energy. For example, when assessing water quality, radiometric resolution is necessary to distinguish between subtle differences in ocean color.

Spectral resolution is the ability of a sensor to discern finer wavelengths, that is, having more and narrower bands. Many sensors are considered to be multispectral, meaning they have 3-10 bands. Some sensors have hundreds to even thousands of bands and are considered to be hyperspectral. The narrower the range of wavelengths for a given band, the finer the spectral resolution. For example, the Airborne Visible/Infrared Imaging Spectrometer (AVIRIS) captures information in 224 spectral channels. The cube on the right represents the detail within the data. At this level of detail, distinctions can be made between rock and mineral types, vegetation types, and other features. In the cube, the small region of high response in the right corner of the image is in the red portion of the visible spectrum (about 700 nanometers), and is due to the presence of 1-centimeter-long (half-inch) red brine shrimp in the evaporation pond.

Why not build a sensor combining high spatial, spectral, and temporal resolution? It is difficult to combine all of the desirable features into one remote sensor. For example, to acquire observations with high spatial resolution (like OLI, aboard Landsat 8) a narrower swath is required, which requires more time between observations of a given area resulting in a lower temporal resolution. Researchers have to make trade-offs. This is why it is very important to understand the type of data needed for a given area of study. When researching weather, which is dynamic over time, a high temporal resolution is critical. When researching seasonal vegetation changes, on the other hand, a high temporal resolution may be sacrificed for a higher spectral or spatial resolution. e24fc04721
