Hard ModeHard Mode's ending.Mechanic typeEndingHard Mode is an optional difficulty-enhancing game mode, triggered by naming the fallen human "Frisk". Similarly to the Undertale Demo, Hard Mode lasts only until the end of the Ruins. It consists of slight dialogue changes, and much more difficult enemy encounters. At the end of the boss battle with Toriel, the Annoying Dog arrives, announcing the end of Hard Mode, much to the displeasure of Toriel. Some monsters are exclusive to Hard Mode while others can be found later in the game in the CORE outside of Hard Mode.

Attempting to escape the Ruins during Hard Mode by editing the protagonist's location in their SAVE file, or by direct intervention (cheat engine, debug mode, etc.) causes the game to continue normally.[1]

This is really amazing as per usual! It really captured that Toby feeling the originals have. I always had this baath phase 2 idea for my hard mode take too, I should probably make my own version soon

Undertale: Hard Mode-Wonderful Idea is an AU owned by sound designer Misterkaze Presents and is based off Toby Fox's Hard Mode of Undertale since the mode was never fully published. All of the monsters encountered are more determined to take the player's soul and be free of the Underground.

Hardmode Sans points his left arm forwards and summons a Gaster Blaster. After a short delay the blaster will fly forwards a short distance. The blaster only does 1 damage but sends opponents backwards if hit.

Hardmode Sans points his left arm forwards and summons a Big Gaster Blaster. After a short delay the blaster will fly forwards a short distance. The blaster only does 1 damage but sends opponents backwards if hit.

Hardmode Sans raises his left hand upwards and a red box appears on the cursor (locked off) or opponent (locked on and within range). After a moment bones will rise from the ground in the area. Every frame the opponent spends in the zone they will take one damage. If all hits connect this move does 19 damage.

Hardmode Sans raises his left hand upwards and spawns a bone wall in front of himself (locked off) or directly behind the opponent (locked on). The bone wall will then begin to slide forwards for about 2 seconds. Just like "Bone Zone" every frame the enemy spends in the bone wall they will take damage.

Hardmode Sans raises his left hand upwards and spawns a bone wall in front of himself. The bone wall will then begin to slide forwards for about 2 seconds. Just like "Bone Zone" every frame the enemy spends in the bone wall they will take damage.

Hardmode Sans raises his left hand upwards and spawns a spinning bone on the cursor (locked off) or the opponent (locked on). Just like many of Hardmode Sans other moves, the bone does damage every frame the player makes contact with it, despawning after about 2.5 seconds. If all hits land this move does 41 damage.

Hardmode Sans points his left arm forwards and summons a Gaster Blaster. After a short delay the blaster fires a beam in the direction it is pointed, dealing damage every frame the enemy is in contact with it. If all hits connect this move does 14 damage and knockback.

Hardmode Sans points both arms forwards and summons a Gaster Blaster. After a delay the blaster fires a large beam in the direction it is pointed, dealing damage every frame the enemy is in contact with it. If all hits connect this move does 21 damage and knockback.

Hardmode Sans puts his hands together, then points them upwards before summoning 4 Gaster Blasters around and above the cursor (locked off) or opponent (locked on). The 4 Blasters then fire down in order, dealing 21-41 damage if all hits connect (damage is spotty for some reason) and launch the opponent backwards.

Hardmode Sans spreads his hands out then puts them together, spawning 8 Blasters around the cursor (locked off) or opponent (locked on). The blasters then fire in sequence, dealing 41 damage if all hits connect, then launching the opponent backwards.

Hardmode Sans spreads his hands out then puts them together, spawning several Blasters around the cursor (locked off) or opponent (locked on). The blasters then fire off as more come in, creating a spinning line around the center. If all hits land this attack does a whooping 97-100 damage, before launching the opponent backwards.

Hardmode Sans summons a massive blaster behind him that slowly begins to charge up. Unfortunately this move seems to be bugged as rather than shooting once charged up, the blaster instead falls through the ground. Afterwards several smaller blasters appear and fire at the cursor (locked off) or opponent (locked on). If all blasters hit, this move does 71 damage. Hardmode Sans himself is locked in place during this move.

Hardmode Sans puts his left arm in front of him and turns his opponents soul blue. During this time press W, A, S, D or Spacebar will throw the opponent Forwards, Left, Right, Backwards, or Upwards respectively. If the opponent collides with any walls, a bone zone will appear on the surface and deal 12 damage. This move does not end until you press F to end it, dealing 1 damage as they hit the floor. Very OP. Landing this move and getting opponent next to a wall means you win.

Hardmode Sans shurgs, begins flashing red and says "you know the rules". Hitting Sans with a melee in this state will cause the attacker to become imobilized as sans says "and so do I", while 3 blasters spawn around them. They then shoot off dealing 42 damage and sending the opponent flying.

When Perspective Flip is used, a ding sound will play, the text "Camera Inverted" will appear above the target and their screen will be flipped upside down for a short time. This makes it much harder to dodge attacks.

No, Whenever you get to the end of the ruins you have the option to either kill or spare Toriel, if you spare her the annoying dog will appear and say that's the end of hard mode if you kill her she gets up anyway the annoying dog appears and says shouldn't you be dead or something the conversation continues and the normal outro begins. you have to rename yourself in order to get to hotland.

Usually, the Normal difficulty offers the baseline the developers worked with. From there, they create other difficulties by adding or taking away features, and then modifying the AI accordingly. For Alien: Isolation, Creative Assembly and Feral Interactive actually recommend playing it on Hard mode first. Aside from it being their baseline, the easier difficulties have fewer Xenomorph appearances in them.

Escaping the crazed Baker family now required more brains than brawn and nerves of steel. The Bakers and other threats only get more formidable on Madhouse difficulty, where they can tank shots better (even headshots). On top of that, enemies and items are in new locations, and saving is limited to a few single-use cassettes. It offers a fresh set of challenges for players who know the Normal mode inside and out.

Introduced in Kingdom Hearts 2, Critical Mode goes a step above the ordinary Proud Mode by altering the overall stats. Players have half their usual HP, take double the damage, and earn 15% less EXP on average. To make up for that, they do a little more damage, earn AP by 3 increments instead of 2, and get abilities like Reaction Boost and MP Hastera early. Everything is harder, but the player can hit harder back, making for a tricky but fair mode.

a creation from an experimental version of undertale hard mode, an AI that would create a hard mode gameplay based on how you behaved playing on normal mode. the game would learn how you play, and plan a way to make the game perfectly harder for you the problem is, the AI would always have a sick way of doing that so, specially with people that love playing the genocide route. Promise is made out from sans original code, but is not actually him the idea for him is that he steals any exp you could get in any route (the game automatically believes youre gonna try a genocide route), so you all the fights can be harder and longer to pass. Thing is, Promise has gained a mind of his own, and began assimilating his code to the code of the people he kills, so he's able to interpret and imitate any character he wants, as long as he has managed to kill him e24fc04721
