Steps to Complete this Task:
1) In your groups of three, each person will be assigned two components of GRAPES to research and demonstrate their understanding why the Roman Empire declined into the Middle Ages. All group members will individually write 2 questions they want to have answered for each topic of GRAPES. The intern researching that specific section will have to answer these questions.
Breakdown:
Geography and Politics/ Government (1) ; Achievements and Economics (2) ; Religion and Social Structure (3)
2) Using the links provided as references, each group intern will research and explain the changes of their specific GRAPES categories. Each member will complete a graphic organizer to record their findings, so their group members can use it as a reference
3) A Google Slide will be created for each component researched. The Slide will be formatted so it can also be easily printed and saved as a reference sheet.
4) Then, intern members will rotate their content focus for the visual and audio components of the exhibit. Examples can come from credible videos, relevant podcasts, original digital images, or paintings from the time periods. Or, you can create your own audio and visual ideas. The person who researched #1 will focus on #2, the person who researched #2 will focus on #3, and the person who researched #3 will focus on #1.
5) Before presenting, interns will rotate one last time to present on the section they did not focus on for research or the audio/visual components. You will present on the topic you did not research or complete the video/ audio component for. Your fellow interns work should be thorough enough that you can confidently present the material!

Example Questions/ Ideas to Consider in the Cause & Effect Exhibit:
When creating your exhibit, compare and contrast the change of social structure from the Roman Empire to the Middle Ages
Consider the world cloud above when researching government. Ask yourself what type of governments each time period had, and how government can impact other aspects GRAPES.
