Description of chapter (500 words max.)
Description of which section(s) of the book your chapter fits in and why (100 words max.)
Description of your career path and how it relates to the concept of "mid-career" (250 words max. per author)
Tell us how your chapter would either include marginalized perspectives, address intersectionality, and/or reflect on privilege (200 words max.)
Provide up to 5 subject terms to describe your chapter (doesn’t have to be formal/Library of Congress)
Tentative title (Avoid trendy references, puns, and acronyms)
Submit your proposal as a .docx file
Please do not include any identifying information on your proposal
12 pt. Font, Times New Roman, double spaced, 1 inch margins
Any references should follow the Notes-Bibliography (endnotes) format in the Chicago Manual of Style (17th edition)
Any charts, figures, and tables follow the Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition, Chapter 3 on Illustrations and Tables (pp. 125-170)

Chapter acceptance/rejection notice: Up to 8 weeks after proposal due date
First chapter draft due by May 17, 2021
Anticipated completed manuscript: January 31, 2022
Final chapters should be approximately 2,500–5,000 words in length
