The Data Mining and Applications group (MIDAS, from the Portuguese Mineração de Dados e Aplicações) was created in 2018, in the University of São Carlos, Brazil. Today, the group has three leading researchers and undergraduate and graduate students, who work on different research projects in Data Mining and related areas. The group also counts on partnerships with public research support foundations, collaborations with other universities (in Brazil and abroad), as well as diverse companies.
