Mr. Christopher Cervantes, is a former seafarer for seventeen years on board oil & chemical tankers. In the area of finance, he is a Registered Financial Planner (RFP) for more than a decade now, and also a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) which is a global, independent association of the world's leading life insurance and financial services professionals from more than 700 companies in 80 nations and territories.

As a writer, Mr. Cervantes wrote three best-selling personal finance books: “Financial Planning for the Fast Changing World”, “Seed Money”, and “Life Begins”.  He is also currently a columnist at “The Manila Times” and has been a regular contributor in “Money Sense” magazine and “Business Mirror” newspaper.

As a subject matter expert in the area of finance, Mr. Cervantes is one of the speakers during the Registered Financial Planner Philippines’ (RFP) Financial Fitness Forum and has appeared in different radio and TV guesting such as “CNN Philippines”, “ANC On The Money”, “Bloomberg Philippines”, as well as in “Radyo Singko’s Oplan Asenso”, “Chink Positive”, and in “Global Pinoy” on DWIZ.

As the founder of Cardinal Buoy Financials, his advocacy is to educate Filipinos to be financially literate and capable to achieve their goals in life. One of the many ways he fulfills this mission is by conducting online and live seminars, as well as speaking in financial forums and OFW forums.
