Whether you are an absolute beginner or have been at it for decades, our sofa is your sofa and there are two fabulous espresso shops within a block. If we’re open, you’re welcome to come in and knit, crochet, spin, or just hide from the world for a bit.
Fun with Sticks and Strings offers a comfortable and encouraging atmosphere for all fiber lovers. We are located in Lansing's Historic Old Town. We offer support, inspiration and friendship to everyone from beginners to seasoned fiber artists.
Our store features a wide range of yarns suitable for almost any project. We offer classes and host Knit-a-Longs, cultivate community and support charitable knitting.
Spun is a family-owned, community-focused space where all are welcome. We are located in Ann Arbor’s historic Kerrytown neighborhood, and we have a large selection of yarn and all the tools for your next project. We also carry weaving, spinning, and felting supplies along with embroidery and cross-stitch kits. We offer a full slate of classes and private lessons to help makers at all levels find joy in being crafty.
What started as a pastime became a passion for Mary Haskin, the shop owner of Unwind Yarn Shop, in April 2016. Unwind has grown to offer up to 20 learning opportunities a week and with a Team of experienced professionals to assist.
