Send us a message. Tell us what you’re trying to do and what you see on your screen.
We reply with guidance. We’ll explain the next steps, or ask a question if we need more detail.
You decide. If a paid option applies to your situation, we’ll tell you what it includes and the price before you agree to anything. There are no surprise charges.
A few details help us answer faster:
Your device (Windows or Mac)
What you were doing when the problem appeared
The exact message on the screen, if there is one
Where you bought Microsoft 365 (a card, an email or a store account)
Please don’t type your product key, password or card details in your message.
To keep you safe, we will never ask for:
Your Microsoft account password
Your product key
Your card number or bank details
Remote access to your computer
We can’t see or change your Microsoft account, orders or subscriptions. For billing, refunds or lost keys, please use Microsoft’s own website or the store where you bought it.
Be careful with pop-ups, calls or messages that say your computer has a problem and push you to call a number or pay quickly. Nobody who is helping you needs your password or product key. If a message feels rushed or odd, close it and go straight to Microsoft’s own website.
Do I have to pay to ask a question?
Sending a message to ask a question doesn’t cost anything. If a paid option ever applies, we’ll tell you the details first.
Can you see my Microsoft account or product key?
No. We can’t see or change your account, and we will never ask for your password or key.
Can you replace a lost product key?
No. For lost keys and purchase problems, contact the store where you bought it or Microsoft through their own website.
How fast will I get a reply?
Usually within one or two working days.
Is this the Microsoft website?
No. This is an independent guide website.
