Founded on 21 June 2022, our mission is to remember and commemorate those micronationalists who have made significant contributions towards the development of micronationalism on the Internet. The rise of the Internet in the mid-1990s has allowed micronationalism to flourish, with the formation of several online communities, intermicronational organisations and diplomatic events such as MicroCon taking place.

However, many micronationalists today take for granted what is now possible, and as many of the original pioneers of online micronationalism have slowly retired, they have also become largely forgotten. And so, in order spread awareness of their invaluable contributions to micronationalism, micronationalists who get inducted into the hall of fame receive a well-written, explanatory and well-researched explanation of some of their most notable contributions.
