Microblading is a tattooing technique that adds semi-permanent pigment to the skin
If your brows feel tight or dry, you may apply an extremely thin layer of Aquaphor after cleansing (brows should not be greasy, glossy, or shiny – if so, you used too much).
The following must be avoided for 10 days post-microblading procedure:
Wash face CAREFULLY with a washcloth or cleansing wipes, avoid brow area.
DO NOT PICK YOUR SCABS. The pigment is within the scab and you do not want to pull any pigment out of your skin prematurely. We all heal differently and what works on one client may not be effective on another so please do not compare your results. The complete healing process takes approximately 6 weeks.
If you get botox it needs to be done 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after the treatment is carried out. Do not drink alcohol 24 hours before treatment. If you are on aspirin or any blood thinners stop taking it 48-72 hours beforehand.
You can still wear makeup on other areas of your face, but none should be worn on the eyebrows in order to promote optimal recovery. Ideally, you should avoid wearing makeup and follow the other aftercare instructions provided to you by your microblading technician for at least 14 days after your procedure.
