Upon app loading the scanword appears.

Hover the pointer on a number to get a visual clue.

Enter words into the field. You can check correctness using Check command from left menu. Incorrect words are highlighted in red.

Settings choice allows to select crossword field size and theme.

Left menu also allows to start new game, check correctness of input, save/load crossword and load a crossword schema (you can select position of letter placeholders using a text file with cw extension. In file L stands for letter placeholder, D stands for word number placeholder, and space stands for space between letters). App will find words that match provided schema.

Latter options of left menu include printer friendly save with answers to HTML, crossword size, language/topic, hardness selection, toggling sound and hint.
