Formation of Space Juniors

Mick co-founded and fronted Sydney's Space Juniors in 1986. Known for their energetic, signature style, self-coined as don't bore us, get to the chorus, regularly playing iconic venues, such as the Hopetoun and the Trade Union Club, and supporting bands like The Scientists and the Celibate Rifles.

Independent Success in Australia

Space Juniors self-released single Chewin' was an Australian indie #1 hit in 1989, outselling Nirvana and The Candy Harlots at the time.

NYC Underground Presence

After moving to New York in 1990, Mick became a fixture in the local underground scene. Mad Bomber, Space Juniors NYC, and Junior High all performed at CBGBs in the early 1990s.
