Crossword Help

After touching any number on the screen word description appears at the bottom of the screen and the description is read aloud.

If you can not hear the description go to Settings/Language and Input/Text-to-speech. There you can either install any text-to-speech engine or change its settings (under Preferred TTS engine touch icon) by installing more voices (say male voice instead of default female) and adding new languages.

Then touch the first letter placeholder near the number. On screen keyboard will appear. There you can start typing a word. Note that if some letters are already on the screen (i.e., from the other words) you do not need to type them twice. 

As soon as crossword is filled press the button at the right bottom corner of the screen. The correct words are highlighted in blue while the errors are highlighed in red. You can correct errors and press the button again to check if your input is correct.

≡ menu at left top corner allows to create new crossword.

As soon as you select this option the crossword editing screen will open. 

There are two sliders on the top of the screen that allow you to change the size of the crossword.

By touching squares you select the places for the letters of the words. Note that the minimum word length is 3 letters. Note also that the place for word numbers have to be left on the top and left sides.

After the letter placeholders are selected go to ≡/Save. Your crossoword will be saved.

Select ≡/Play, ≡/Select size/Size of your created crossword to start playing on the newly created crossword field.

On crossword editing screen you can also load created crossword for further editing.

The other options of ≡ menu allow to start new game, check correctness of input,

save and load saved crosswords,

print crossword with descriptions and answers,

select crossword size, and select language of crossword.

Upon touching the language a sub menu appears allowing to select domain (topic) of crossword.

The latter options of ≡ menu allow to select hardness of crossword, either turn on or turn off sound, either turn on or turn off hint.

Hint appears in the word description allowing you to solve most difficult words.

⁝ menu at the top right of the screen allows to create crosswords, start the new game, check correctness of input, print crossword, select size of crossword, select language of crossword, and select difficulty of crossword.
