Welcome

I am an economist and policy officer at the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS). Before joining BMAS, I was a postdoctoral researcher at RFBerlin and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. My research lies in applied microeconomics and labor economics, with a particular focus on migration, networks, and unemployment insurance (UI) systems. I specialize in linked employer-employee administrative data for Germany and Spain. In ongoing research, I use quasi-experimental designs to study how former coworkers shape migration decisions. I received my PhD in Economics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Berlin School of Economics (BSoE) in March 2025.
