Hey there, my name is Mike, I'm a recent graduate from the University of British Columbia in Kelowna. I have a little under two years of relevant engineering experience and aspire to resume that time in the oil and gas sector. As a hands-on worker, I've always loved field time and my last few jobs have been able to scratch that itch for me, even as an engineer. Problem solving, installations and maintenance are just a small part of the opportunities I've been exposed to in order to make myself a better technician, and as a result, a better engineer. My Job Experience page will outline those experiences in more detail, thanks for checking out my page.
Whether it's working or playing, I'm a huge fan of being outside. Being born so close to the Rocky Mountains meant hiking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. As I got older, athletics became an option and I spent 7 years playing soccer and the next 8 playing club basketball. Within those years, the mechanical inclination from my father got me into dirt bikes, four-wheelers and most things with an engine. As a result, the jobs I pursued became an collection of these desires I had growing up.
