I am currently a Postdoc at the Max-Planck-Institut für Radioastronomie in Bonn, in the Star Formation and Galaxy Evolution department.
Before moving to Germany, I was an Assistant Professor at the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) in Warsaw, Poland. I got my PhD at the University of Padua in December 2021, with a thesis on the formation and build-up of primordial galaxies, as part of the ALMA large program ALPINE.
My main interests include the investigation of the formation and evolution of galaxies from the early Universe to present day. I make use of powerful facilities (e.g., ALMA, HST, JWST) to observe the whole electromagnetic spectrum of local and distant sources, in order to study the interplay between gas, dust, and star formation in their interstellar medium. I further investigate how feedback processes (e.g., galactic outflows) affect the dust and metal content in galaxies and in their surroundings (in the circum- and inter-galactic media), shaping their baryon cycle.
