As an academic mentor, I learned the value of leadership, responsibility, and communication, guiding adult students through complex challenges. I am required to adapt to different learning styles throughout my experience to best benefit each student. Furthermore, I recommended and talked with students regarding ways in which they could improve and conquer impediments in their academic careers.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - FIRSTSERVICE RESIDENTIAL

During my time at Whitney Ranch, I was proficient in online payment, and refunds when dealing with customer remittances. I was also efficient in organizing and solidifying files of customer house information both physically and virtually, providing stability for the association. I made access cards for the usage of our facilities, along with answering many questions for customers both on the phone and in person.

MEAL DISTRIBUTE - SENIORS FIRST AND MEALS ON WHEELS

MAY 2020 - JAN 2021

I completed 478 hours of community service, providing help to Meals on Wheels, and providing meals to seniors. I was responsible for picking up, distributing, and delivering meals to unfortunate seniors. I was especially needed once the pandemic hit, volunteering much time so seniors could eat and be safe. I delivered to over 50 seniors during the pandemic alone. It was vital to provide help to seniors during the pandemic times. I also was responsible for much of the team coordination and was responsible for customer service.

EVENT STAFF - WHITNEY RANCH COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION

SEPT 2018 - MAR 2020

I completed 24 hours of volunteer experience helping at the Ranch House community center. I oversaw parts of the craft department and events that took place. I was responsible for putting out supplies or crafts, helping children with crafts, cleaning up supplies, and providing input for future crafts. I cleaned and set tables for a variety of holiday events, providing help to adults and children. This experience showed me the value of not only helping customers but also the need of the establishment.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TUTOR - INTERNS4GOOD

OCT 2020 - DEC 2020

I completed 18 hours of community service through zoom during the coronavirus. Interns4Good is a non-profit organization and I helped little kids who had no other way to master elementary concepts. I saw improvement throughout interactions and the growth of children’s abilities.
