We welcome classes of all lengths and/or salons, especially those which focus on repairing/repurposing - bringing "new life" to SCA and period items of all kinds.

Bard of the Crossroads: The Barony's Bardic Championship.
Bring "new life" to an old favorite by composing an SCA filk! (Read more about the practice of filking/contrafaction here.) Or, perform an existing SCA song/filk but put your own spin on it - be prepared to tell Their Excellencies how you've given it "new life!"
Artisan of the Crossroads: The Barony's A&S Championship.
Bring your “New Life” A&S project to Michaelmas and enter it in our Artisan of the Crossroads Baronial Championship! Eligible entries include:
Something old that you’ve fixed up/repurposed (period or SCA life)
Project/item demonstrating a period repair technique
An old project you’ve returned to (also counts toward October “I Did A Thing”)
Anything demonstrating our event theme of "New Life" is welcome!
Populace Choice A&S Champion
In addition to the Baron and Baroness's Choice for Artisan of the Crossroads, the populace are invited to vote for their favorite entry!
