Welcome!

I am currently an Assitant Professor (in UK "Lecturer") at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK. From August 2015 until 2019, I was an Assistant Professor at the the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA (School of Economics). I obtained my Ph.D. from U Mannheim, and I am a Research Associate at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim, Germany 

My research focuses on the Economics of Digitization. I am specifically interested in Information Technologies, Privacy, Networks and in Competition in Online Markets. I primarily use methods from Empirical Industrial Organization and Applied Econometrics. I obtained my Ph.D. from the University of Mannheim and I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim, Germany. My supervisors are Martin Peitz and Philipp Schmidt-Dengler. My Job Market Paper analyses the effects of links on users reading and contribution behavior in a Content Network.

Since 2009, I am part of the "DocNet" program. This program is jointly organized by the the University of Mannheim and the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim. I completed my dissertation at University of Mannheim's Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences (CDSE) in Summer 2014 and, since then, continue to work as postdoctoral Researcher at ZEW. Before joining this Program, I have studied in Vienna, Madrid and Toulouse and worked as R.A. for Rudolf Winter-Ebmer and Franz Hackl at University of Linz, Austria.
