We specialize in one thing.. facial plastic surgery. Procedures include rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, facelifts and non-surgical procedures and treatments for facial rejuvenation.
Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty, commonly known as a 'nose job', is a surgical procedure that reshapes or resizes the nose for aesthetic or functional purposes. It can correct a variety of concerns, including an asymmetrical nose, a nose that is too large or too small in comparison with the face, or issues with the nasal tip or bridge. Moreover, rhinoplasty can also rectify nasal deformities caused by injury, correct birth defects, and improve breathing difficulties or other nasal dysfunction.
The procedure involves either a closed method, where incisions are hidden inside the nose, or an open method, where an incision is made across the tissue between the nostrils. The skin of the nose is then separated from the bone and cartilage, which are reshaped to achieve the desired appearance or improve function.
Due to its complex nature, rhinoplasty requires careful planning and skilled execution to ensure a natural-looking result that harmonizes with other facial features and meets the patient's desired aesthetic goals. Recovery can vary from person to person, typically swelling and bruising last up to two weeks. Long-term results from rhinoplasty are considered permanent, although the face will continue to age naturally.
Eyelid Surgery
Eyelid surgery, also known as blepharoplasty, is a procedure aimed at improving the appearance of the eyelids. It can be performed on either the upper lids, lower lids, or both. The surgery can correct sagging eyelids, remove fatty pouches beneath the eyes, and eliminate excess skin from upper eyelids. This is often an elective surgery for cosmetic enhancements, but in some cases, it can also be done for functional reasons, particularly when the drooping eyelids hinder normal vision. The procedure involves incisions along the eyelid crease or inside the eyelid to remove or reposition excess fat, muscle, and skin. After the procedure, patients may experience swelling and bruising, which usually subsides after one to two weeks. With proper care and recovery, the results of the surgery can provide a rejuvenated appearance to the surrounding area of the eyes.
Facelift Surgery
Facelift surgery, also known as a rhytidectomy, is a cosmetic surgical procedure aimed to create a younger appearance in the face. This is achieved by removing excess facial skin and fat, tightening underlying muscles, and redraping the skin on the patient's face and neck. The surgery can correct sagging, creases, loss of muscle tone, and other signs of aging. Facelifts can be performed in conjunction with other procedures like eyelid surgery or rhinoplasty for more comprehensive facial rejuvenation. The procedure involves incisions typically made in the hairline (at the temples), around the ear, and possibly under the chin to improve the contour. Results of a facelift do not stop the aging process but can help to "set back the clock" by surgically improving the most visible signs of aging.
