Michael E. Kirst

About Me

Kirst aids major commercial firms in locating possible partners, financial backing, and prospects for market expansion. He has a unique combination of knowledge and skills to influence environmental and energy policy to support commercial success around the world because of his excellent working relationships throughout the United States Government, the EU Commission and Parliament, and the United States Diplomatic missions in Europe.

Current employer of Mr. Kirst is Euroatlantic Partners in Brussels, Belgium. However, he has extensive experience outside of the EU capital.

Before joining EuroAtlantic Partners, Kirst served as Vice President of Westinghouse Electric Company. While working in this position, he devised and implemented growth plans for countries in Europe and the Middle East. These growth initiatives and tactics were geared at the rapidly changing business conditions in these countries and resulted in significant new business and market expansion, notably in Central and Eastern Europe. In addition, he was in charge of all EU and national government contacts in the EMEA area.
