Bringing About Change in Nonprofits and Policy

I have extensive management and organizational experience and am recognized as an innovative and strategic leader. I have worked in the nonprofit sector for 35 years.  In most of this work I have bridged policy making and management with community implementation.  I have been involved in national, statewide and local organizations. During the course of my career I have been involved with organizations focused on the environment, public health, homelessness, food systems, and education.

I have served for over 15 years as a volunteer, local elected official. I have chaired and served on town Select Board, School Committee, Planning Board, and Energy and Climate Action Committee, in addition to various related regional and multi-town initiatives.

I have a dual Masters Degree from Tufts University’s  in Public Policy and Citizen Participation Program and Urban & Environmental Policy Program  with a focus on Non-Profit Management. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Government from Cornell University.
