Is counselling for me? Counselling can help people for a variety of issues, no matter how big or small they feel their issue is. Talking to someone who in non judgemental, that will listen and provide a safe place for you to talk can help in many ways. Exploring problems with someone not involved can help you make connections, see the bigger picture and help you make changes in your life that fit in with what is going on for you.

Are you easy to find? If you have SatNav we are very easy to find and can provide full directions should you need them.

Is it safe/easy to park? Yes, we have a large, safe area with plenty of space for parking.

How many sessions will I need/can I have? This is very much dependent on your own situation, some people have a few sessions and find that is enough, others need longer. This is something we can look at together during our first session.

I am on benefits/retired and can not afford counselling? I offer a reduced rate for those on benefits/retired/students.

Isn't counselling the same as talking to a friend? For many reasons counselling is very much different from talking to a friend or relative. It is a safe environment where you will not be judged, you can be assured that I wont tell anyone else whats going in your life, I will really listen and help you find out what you want to do with with no other motive than helping you find what you want to do.

Do I need to be referred by my GP? No, you do not need to be referred by your Doctor.

How do I pay? Payment can be made in advance by bank transfer, Paypal or cash on the day. Receipts can be provided.

How do I make an appointment? Please telephone or email to make an appointment. I do not answer my phone when I am in appointments, but I check my phone between sessions and will reply as soon as I can. Please leave your name, telephone number and a convenient time for me to return your call.
