The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent
In other words, just sit back and watch what the Lord will do on your behalf, and shut up.
Wow, how hard it must be to sit there and allow the Lord to fight for you, and you don't have to scuff your shoes. We always want to take charge of the situation, and then we make it more than it needed to be. All because we get angry and want to put everything and everyone into a chokehold; so that they know who not to mess with.
God wants to support us, but we have to stop taking His spotlight. This world is at war saints. We all get frustrated with those around us who challenge our sanity on a daily basis. We are not given the Lord's permission just to pre-plan our attacks. God might be using you to set a captive free if you are willing to allow a couple of scrapes and bruises.
Our issue is that we do not allow someone who knows not what they are doing to cross our road without paying some respect. We want everyone to know we are not easy to push over. As if that is a bad thing. Christ allowed people to step into His presence, so I am certain that there were times people challenged His patience, yet He dealt with them because of the real reason He was there, they had no idea it was for their saving.
You might be there for another person's release from the bondage of the enemy. Keep your mouth shut sometimes and let the Lord fight the battles that you do not need to.
Lord allow us to open our eyes and close our mouths so that you might get your Glory from our existence in your son's name, we ask. Amen.
The Day of the Lord
…2 For you are fully aware that the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and security,” destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4 But you, brothers, are not in the darkness so that this day should overtake you like a thief.…
There is a day of the Lord that will surprise the world. What it should not do is surprise the believer in Christ.
Let us not live our lives, oblivious to the Lord's soon return to the world. We must all be ready when the Savior arrives for those who have given their lives over to the service of the Kingdom,
The problem is that most people are not looking for the world to be done in their lifetime, so they do not have to be ready for the Savior's return in their lifetime, but however, they must know that there is a time coming for us all that may not happen for the world until years from now. Be ye always ready for you do not know when the Son of God will return for you, and it behooves us to be ready for Him to collect us at any point in our lives.
The day of the Lord is the end of time as men understand it. Yet, the Day the Lord comes may very well be our own personal last-minute rendezvous with the Father in the Spirit.

“Work hard to enter the narrow door to God's Kingdom, for many will try to enter but will fail. When the master of the house has locked the door, it will be too late. You will stand outside knocking and pleading, ?Lord, open the door for us!' But he will reply, ?I don't know you or where you come from.'
If we assume that the opportunity to reach eternal glory is forever, we need to think again. Life has given us one or two good chances to get things in perspective when it comes to the faith we hold.
Now is the time to come to the Lord and turn our lives over, so that we will be saved from the coming disasters. We do not have time to keep pushing the Lord to the side for our own enjoyments, while others are in trouble trying to get themselves free from this Worlds strong bondage.
We need to catch the door while it is wide open for us to enter into the blessings of the Lord our God.
Just as in the days of Noah, when the Lord told him to put those animals aboard the Ark, and then the Scripture said that the doors were shut and the Lord locked it, and Noah could not open it for anyone. They probably yelled out and bammed upon the Ark to try and gain access, but they could not get it, because the Lord sealed the doors shut.
The last days are the only days we have left to prepare ourselves for the coming of the Lord our Savior. With that time we have, we need to get our houses in order and prepare to be taken up when the Savior comes for His people.
The Doors of Heaven are not accessible by flesh and blood, but by the Spirit, and through the permission of the Lord our God who has the key to let us all in at His discretion.
The hardest storms head towards us from the north. It is the most devastating wind to blow upon the earth, To be honest, any storm that has strong winds no matter what direction would be a disaster to humanity. Yet, this Scripture is telling us that those who backbite another with their gossiping spirit is worst than the strongest winds blowing from the North.
God is never into the backbiting spirit that men have grown accustomed to. We live in a culture that has nothing else in their lives to do with themselves but to sit around in clusters and talk about the misfortune of another person's failures. It is wrong to sit across the street in our lives and look at the troubles of another and spread it around the community.
Our voices should never be used to spread the tails of others. Some of us cant spread the Good News of Jesus Christ as quickly as we spread the stories we hear from our neighbor about someone else's downfall.
It is not always good news we repeat, at times it's the most devastating information that the subject of the story would prefer to keep under wraps. Ye, somehow the information that was entrusted to whoever told your neighbor has now gotten out of the bag and is the current gossip in the community, or even worse your family.
We never want others to have something that we want to remain in the vault of trust. So what makes us think that other people we might be sharing their information without their permission would want their information spread throughout the community?
