Michael Guarino

I am a Ph.D. student in linguistics at Georgetown University, where I specialize in discourse analysis and sociolinguistics. My research explores language, culture, identity, and ideology in discourse and social interaction, with a particular emphasis on mediated communication and health communication. 

In addition to my teaching assistantship in the Department of Linguistics, I'm currently serving as a Qualitative Research Coordinator at Georgetown University's Center for Global Health Practice and Impact. I contribute to data collection, analysis, and multi-stakeholder engagement for an implementation science study of mobile HIV service delivery.
