Department of Linguistics, Georgetown University
I am a Ph.D. student in sociolinguistics at Georgetown University. My research explores the dynamic relationship among language, culture, and identity in a variety of domains, including social media, education, health care, and politics.
My professional background in intercultural and multilingual education has shaped my passion for embracing linguistic and cultural diversity. Prior to beginning my Ph.D., I worked as a program manager, curriculum developer, and facilitator for a variety of international education programs with students from Latin America, including the Latin America Leadership Program and the U.S. State Department’s Youth Ambassadors Program.
