About Me
I am a PhD candidate in accounting at the University of Texas at Austin. My research focuses on investor judgment and decision making in financial reporting contexts, with a particular emphasis on standard-setting issues. Using experimental methods, I aim to provide evidence and insights that help accounting standard setters improve the decision usefulness of financial information, including sustainability-related financial information.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I was a Lecturer at the University of Saskatchewan, where I taught financial accounting and taxation. Before that, I worked at Virtus Group LLP in Saskatchewan, Canada, where I performed audit, assurance, and tax engagements. I hold a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation through the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Saskatchewan.
