👋🏾 Hi, I’m Mahamed — founder of MIC Coaching & Mentoring.

I wasn’t handed a clear path into tech — I built it myself. After contracting polio as a baby, I faced years of mobility challenges, self-doubt, and being overlooked. But through resilience and grit, I went from being a struggling school-leaver to becoming a fully qualified:

I hold a Master’s Degree in Network Security Management, Cybersecurity, and Penetration Testing, and I’ve helped people of all ages and abilities break into tech — including career changers, disabled job seekers, and school leavers just starting out.

No! Many of my clients are complete beginners. I’ll meet you at your level — whether you’re exploring tech for the first time, changing careers, or restarting after a break.

❓ Can I still work in IT or cybersecurity if I have a disability or limited mobility?

Absolutely. I personally overcame major physical challenges and built a career in IT, cybersecurity, and teaching. There are many flexible and remote-friendly paths available — we’ll build one around your strengths.

❓ What’s the difference between a 1-hour session and the 6-week mentorship?

The 1-hour session is for quick clarity or CV help. The 6-week plan is a full mentorship journey with weekly check-ins, goal setting, and job prep. It’s ideal if you want long-term support.
