Hola! My name is Corina Pope, and I offer private Spanish lessons for students from 1st grade through college. I love introducing students to the Spanish language and culture in a fun and engaging way, using games, videos, and interactive lessons that make learning easy and memorable.

Growing up as the daughter of Argentinian immigrants, I traveled to Argentina during the summers to visit relatives. These experiences immersed me in the culture and language, fostering my appreciation for learning about the world.

I started Mi Casa Es Su Casa to teach kids how to learn Spanish in a fun way. I began tutoring middle and high school students in 2014, simplifying their school lessons to make them easier to understand. One-on-one tutoring allows students to ask questions freely, gain new perspectives, and develop a clearer understanding of complex concepts.

Also in 2014, I taught at a Spanish immersion preschool, incorporating lessons with songs, games, and fun activities. In 2015, I began teaching afterschool classes at elementary schools, later expanding to in-home group sessions. To further support students, I introduced Summer Camps and Summer Bridge Classes, providing opportunities for continued learning during summer break and preparation for the upcoming school year.

With over 10 years of teaching experience in Northern Virginia, I have recently moved to North Carolina and am excited to continue sharing my love for Spanish. My goal is to be an essential part of your child’s educational journey.
