Purpose:
MICA was formed in 2002 to bring together Inorganic Chemists of the Mid-South, in order to enhance teaching and research capabilities through discussions and interactions between chemists with similar interests. Collaborative research conducted by the sharing of instrumentation and ideas will improve upon the quality research already conducted in the Mid-South. Greater research opportunities will lead to broadening curriculum offerings in both the classroom and the laboratory settings.
