I am a researcher working at the intersection of materials physics, materials chemistry, and nanotechnology, with a focus on engineering quantum functionalities. Starting in August 2026, I will join the Department of Intelligent Systems Engineering at Indiana University Bloomington as an Assistant Professor. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Northwestern University and the Center for Molecular Quantum Transduction in the group of Prof. Mark Hersam. I received my Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, under the supervision of Prof. Feng Wang.
My research aims to create and control emergent quantum properties in hybrid organic–inorganic nanomaterials. By integrating approaches from materials synthesis, quantum characterization, and nanofabrication, I seek to develop quantum materials based on nanoscale and hybrid organic-inorganic systems that are inherently tunable, scalable, and compatible with existing technological infrastructures.
The overarching goal of my research is to make quantum technologies and quantum-enabled devices ubiquitous, accessible, and seamlessly integrated into everyday life. At Indiana University, my group will emphasize bridging fundamental quantum phenomena with semiconductor-compatible platforms to enable practical, manufacturable quantum devices. I am also deeply committed to mentorship and to strengthening educational pathways for students toward science and technology.
