Writer & Director- Myeves Lucien: Myeves Lucien is a rising senior in high school whose passion has always been acting. She's dreamed of attending an school for acting and advancing as an actress for as long as she can remember. She thought of the idea of creating a screenplay for the community and to raise money for donations and then decided to involve her closest friends (Hajera, Riley, & Mbugua). Myeves has helped direct The Chair, showcased at the 2019 Howard Country Theatre Festival, and Elephants Graveyard, showcased at Centennial High School in 2020. However this is her first time directing a self-written play alone! She is ecstatic and already loves the casts and the beautiful experience she gets to go through with other artists. They've already gotten the show copyrighted, built a M.I.A website, & own a M.I.A instagram! She truly hopes you enjoy the show and appreciate the cause.

Writer- Anjum Hajera: Working on M.I.A with Myeves, Emily, and Njeri was a unique experience Anjum is likely not to have again. She has acted and participated in small productions before, with M.I.A being the second play she’s had a hand in writing, and the first that she’s been involved with that is being copyrighted. Her main role in the creation process was obsessively editing the script and making sure everything was understandable and coherent. She has no doubt that the show will be as enjoyable to watch as it was to write! She hopes that you enjoy it!

Writer & Artist- Emily Riley: Although Emily is not the best when it comes to writing, her contribution comes into play with creative ideas. She came up with the title as well as the cover art for the show. Emily is very excited for this show because it is the first show she has every written and gotten copyrighted. The excitement and anticipation of the show is driving her insane. She can’t wait to see M.I.A come to life with such an amazing cast and crew! She hopes that you enjoy the show as well!

Writer- Njeri Mbugua: Njeri Mbugua is a rising junior, passionate for the arts, with many achievements. It all began with a text from her friend, Myeves Lucien, who wanted assistance with her Passion Project. Njeri never imagined her and her three friends, would write and an entire screenplay in just three days. Njeri is an upcoming writer and performer within her school and church, and can now say she has written a screenplay. She was excited to bring her creative ideas to the table and enhance her writing skills throughout the writing process. Njeri is excited and cannot wait until this play comes to life, and is very proud of her and her team for the great accomplishments they have achieved thus far.
