Jamal's Bio

Jamal Malik Lawrence is a rising senior at Mount Hebron High School and is extremely excited to be apart of his first play, “M.I.A,” and his 5th production. He has previously played The Escapologist in Matilda and one of the Washington Senators in Damn Yankees, which are his favorite roles. Aside from theatre, Jamal is now apart of the Chamber Choir as a baritone at Mount Hebron and loves to work with school staff to make change in the learning environment. He is very excited to showcase his hard work along with his newly-made friends in both casts! Enjoy the show, you’re gonna love it!
