Before you join our group, we'd like you to review the membership rules we have in place. It helps to keep our community engaged and active. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us.
1. You must be 18 years of age to join this MeetUp. Minors need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will contact the organizers personally and give consent for you to join us. That said, young friends are welcome.
2. We promote an active community. With that in mind, we would like to make sure that the person applying to this group is not a bot. Please make sure to fill out the member form in it’s entirety with as much information you’re able to share.
3. Though not required but HIGHLY recommended, please RSVP to any event that we host. Not only will this help us know whether to expect you or not, it will help us plan accordingly and help accommodate space at a listed venue.
4. We want to encourage an active community, to that end accounts that are inactive (this includes a member that has not logged on to our page) for over a year will be closed without prejudice. If you decide you want to sign up again, you are more than welcome. (Nobody likes a spammy mailroom. Less clutter! More space for what really interests you!)
5. Be RESPECTFUL towards fellow members on the site and at the Meet-up gatherings, by your words and actions. Especially of other member(s) personal space! Don’t post anything you wouldn’t say in person.
6. We are blessed to have members from many different paths and beliefs here. We will not all see eye-to-eye on all issues. Discussion is welcome but putting down someone else's path or beliefs is not. Anyone who does so is subject to being put on moderated status and if the bashing continues, the member doing it will be banned from the group.
7. We encourage all of our members to post events you find interesting or that others here might enjoy. However, only events at scheduled meeting place and times are considered MeetUp events hosted by this group. All the others are called 'hanging out with your friends’.
8. Share your ideas for keeping this interesting and active. If you have a suggestion for a meetup, please let us know! We're a collective, remember? Inclusive and inviting contributions from all of you is what makes this fun.
9. Volunteer your time and expertise to making this group successful. No matter what your knowledge or skill level, we all have ideas and talents to share. Contact the organizers and we'll work together to make things happen. See #7. Add your voice, share your experience.
10. Last but not least, have a great time here. This group started as a way for local pagans to meet each other in a relaxed atmosphere, a social collective of independently minded people that happen to share similar beliefs. Have fun with it! We welcome you and hope to see you at the next meetup.
