Dear MHS Families,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! We’re excited for the year ahead. Every MHS family is a member of the PCO, and we look forward to working together to enhance your student’s experience. From monthly PCO meetings and Principal’s Coffees to volunteer opportunities, there are many ways to be involved.
PCO meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 pm on Zoom (unless otherwise noted). Links will be sent the week prior through the PCO and the principal’s emails. Your support and participation are greatly appreciated—we hope you’ll join us for the first meeting on Monday, September 8th.
Thanks to the generosity of families and students, we raised over $72,000 last year, primarily through Magic Hat Thrift Shop allocations, along with $9,000 from our Fall Contribution Drive. These funds supported woodshop, culinary arts, Math, Foreign Language, Guidance, DECA, Project Reboot, grade-level donations, the cultural feast, teacher/staff appreciation, and more. With your help, we hope to do even better this year.
Please help us continue this work by taking part in our contribution drive. We suggest a donation of $50.00 per family, but gratefully accept any amount that works for your family. There are two ways to donate:
1. Send a check payable to the MHS PCO and mail it to: MHS PCO, 2 Humphrey Street, Marblehead, MA 01945
2. Use PayPal. Simply go to our Donation page https://sites.google.com/view/mhspco/donate.
Please note that the MHS PCO is an IRS approved 501(c)3 organization. All donations are tax deductible. Don’t forget to check with your employer regarding matching gift programs.
The MHS PCO Directory is online again this year. If you have previously been listed in the MHS or MVMS PCO directory, please log in to verify your information at https://mhspco.membershiptoolkit.com. If you are new to MHS, you can also use this link to add your family information. For new members, when you create an account an email invitation is sent from Membership Toolkit to verify that a valid email address has been entered. Please note: the email invitation for creating a new account is only valid for two hours, so if you are not able to access your email in that timeframe, you will have to start the process over again. If you already have a Membership Toolkit account with another MHD Public School, you can use the same email and password to log in. All PCO emails will be generated through this database going forward and you don't want to be left out.
Information about the PCO can be found on our website https://sites.google.com/view/mhspco. You can also find us listed under “Partners” on the MHS website. Questions? Please email us at mhspco@gmail.com and don’t forget to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/mhspco. Wishing everyone a wonderful year ahead!
