The Moorefield Middle School JackBots believe in building positive relationships within their community.
Our team has partnered with the Moorefield High School JackBots Robotics team to positively impact our community by creating the free "Amazing Animals" STEM kit to pass out to students and participated in the Mineral County STEM Festival.
Our team recently hosted a free "Spooky STEM Sunday" event for local students to participate in 9 hands-on STEM activities! We are partnering with MIS to mentor an FLL-Explore team of 4-5 grade students to begin leanring about engineering and coding and introduce them to competetive robotics.
We also plan to have a booth at the Tri-County Fair this summer to spread STEM awareness in the community.
Have you tried our Amazing Animals STEM Activity? These growing little creatures may seem like magic, but it's all science! The amazing animals are made from a super absorbent polymer, which allows it to soak up water. With our kit, you will learn how to conduct your own experiment and collect data as the animal grows! Contact us to receive a kit, or check us out at one of the outreach events!

This event was a Halloween themed STEM night. There were glowing eyes made out of Borax and baking soda, flames able to be held in the palm of your hand. There was also pumpkin volcanos, disappearing ghosts, glow in the dark slime, popsicle stick catapults, Magic potions, and a robot maze. There were about 50 people in attendance.
*No humans were harmed during the experiments
