Our mission is to elevate our school's History community. We want to do this by building a club that piques the average student's interest in History, while also catering to students already interested in it. We plan on doing this by making History more fun and entertaining, which we'll do by organizing history-related events, meetings and excursions.
I'm the President and Founder of History Club. My interests in History are vast, although I find the Roman Republic's History to be the most fascinating.
Last year, my responsibilities were immense, from writing teams posts to organizing game show parodies. This year, with a more dedicated cabinet, I'm able to focus on leading, and give it the attention it needs (Although, I still often dabble in things like organizing meetings). I'm also the lead writer of this website.
I'm the Vice President of History Club. I am very interested in History. I have watched all Kings and Generals videos, lots of Historymarche videos and read Wikipedia pages on every possible ancient empire of the world, from Europe to Africa to American Tribes.
I have been an active part of History Club since the beginning, helping come with ideas and managing meetings, but perhaps my biggest contributions has been creating Kahoots for the club.
Hi! I'm Rayyaan and I am currently serving as the History Club's Cabinet Mentor. My primary responsibility within the club is to provide advice to the History Club Cabinet regarding their exciting initiatives and events for the year, and guide them as to how such events can be organised. My passion for History, fascinatingly enough, stems directly from my extensive interest in politics! I've always been enlightened and engrossed in how societies have decided to govern themselves and exercise power over the ages, and the impact such decisions have had on the society itself! History, overall, is an endeavour that is highly applicable to the real-world, and is one that we strongly encourage you to explore through History Club!
I'm the main designer of this website. I am an enthusiast of modern history such as in topics of colonialism, 20th century affairs and the Cold War as well.
In the History Club cabinet, I am an executive. Most of my work for the club consists of videography for our YouTube channel and designing the website.
Why write a blurb when I have better things to do?
Jk, I am Arav, one of the executives of History Club. I was only among the first members of History Club. I usually help organize quizzes, make Instagram posts, and print and hang up posters around the school. I am also the best History Club member (totally).
Huh, I guess I'm just a guy that found themselves in History club from one of my many connections.
In the cabinet, I am considered an executive and I usually just make clubs a bit more fun.
