What is Chronic Widespread Pain Syndrome?

Chronic Widespread Pain Syndrome (CWP) is long-lasting pain in multiple parts of the body. It is more common than you would expect and impacts the lives of approximately 10% of the worlds population. It is also associated with other physical symptoms such as fatigue, difficulty concentrating and psychological distress. The pain has also been persistent for longer than 3 months.
