We try to schedule the full 3 months in advance for planning and convenience, but there are often circumstances that require calendar adjustments. Calendar changes are most often due to facilities conflicts, snow days/make up days, student preparedness, etc. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding.

11/06/2025 : Pre-Audition Workshop AND the Parent Info Session . Both of these events are optional.
WORKSHOP for students from 4:00 pm to 5:45 p
PARENT MEETING begins at 6:00 pm
11/07/2025: AUDITION REQUEST FORM IS DUE. *** No late forms will be accepted. ***
Week of 11/17: Auditions Week
11/17-19: Auditions (you will select one 60-min time slot only)
11/20-21: Callback Auditions (for some students only)
DECEMBER
12/1/25: First day of rehearsals. ALL CAST
Rehearsals will run from 12/01/25 - 3/18/26. The full rehearsal calendar will be posted on this page. COMING SOON!
JANUARY
1/9/26: MATERIALS FEE DUE DATE. The CAST MATERIALS FEE is $150 (if this presents a hardship, please email SMSchoolPlay@aol.com)
1/21/26: CREW SIGN-UP REQUEST FORM DUE. NO LATE FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED
(Note: Crew form will be posted on this website by January 5)
FEBRUARY
1/26/26: CREW INTERVIEWS, MANDATORY
2/2/26: First Crew Rehearsal
2/13/26: CREW MATERIALS FEE DUE DATE. CREW MATERIALS FEE is $75 (if this presents a hardship, please email SMSchoolPlay@aol.com)
MARCH
3/07/26: SUPER SATURDAY REHEARSAL - full day, ALL CAST
3/18-22 : SHOW DATES (note there is no school for students on 3/19 and 20)

Rehearsal Info and Expectations:
Rehearsals are MANDATORY, unless otherwise noted. Students are required to attend all rehearsals that are scheduled for their assigned role. If you are unable to attend a scheduled rehearsal, email jennifer.steeprow@lcps.org
Rehearsal days and times:
There will be rehearsal on all Saturdays, with rare omissions. (Generally in the mornings)
Rehearsals may be scheduled on Mon-Sat. But, they will likely be concentrated on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Rehearsal end time will get later and later as the season progresses. The first rehearsals will end at 5:30. By the end of the season, rehearsals will end at 7:30 and possibly later.
Come to rehearsal prepared with the materials we will be covering that day.
Always bring your script, a pencil, and a water bottle.
