HOMICIDE AND ASSAULT
[1] Assault of any form is illegal. Exceptionally, the citizen may defend themselves IF they are being attacked.
[2] Homicide in any circumstance is illegal, and will be met with jail time.
[3] Threats of murder / assault are prohibited.
[4] Manslaughter / Mass Killing is illegal. It is only allowed under EXTREME circumstances.
BUILDING LAWS
[1] A citizen may only build a house/property/business if given authorization by a high ranking official.
[2] Subterranean construction or building of underground bunkers/bases may only be built if authorized by a high ranking official
[3] If two (or more) buildings owned by two (or more) different claim owners connect or join up into other claims without consent from either party, it is illegal construction.
[4] Disallowed removal of blocks is illegal, this includes unauthorized removal of blocks from buildings or removing decorations/elements from sidewalks.
[5] Mass-removal of blocks or items from your property is illegal without proper authorisation.
[6] Mass-removal of blocks or items from others’ property is illegal without proper authorisation.
[7] Citizens may not leave buildings unfinished/unkempt for a long time, this includes parts from a building missing due to the builder’s laziness or disorganization. This is illegal.
[8] Citizens who use the public farms in Maharlika MUST replant the crops after harvesting, it is illegal to not do so.
[9] Do not terraform your land outside of the Kingdom of Maharlika or Taiwan claim, you are not allowed to do so as it risks third-parties griefing the land.
[10] Intentionally setting a building on fire for the purpose of destruction is arson and is highly illegal.
[11] Creations of secret bunkers / plots to facilitate stolen goods, contraband weapons or bombs will result in condemnation of the property.
BUSINESS AND ECONOMY
[1] Establishment of businesses is permitted with permission of a high-ranking official.
[2] A business will be officially recognised if it sells any product(s).
[3] Employees are paid off of different aspects, such as if they have a degree or not
[4] Unauthorized sale of firearms/weapons or contraband products is illegal, overall selling of mortars and explosives is illegal unless properly authorised
[5] Failure to work for an employer as per a signed agreement is illegal.
[6] Failure to pay a worker as an employer as per a signed agreement is illegal.
IMMIGRATION / ADMISSIONS INTO THE COUNTRY
[1] Maharlikan citizenship will be granted to anyone who wishes to join the Kingdom of Maharlika.
[2] Dual Citizenship is not allowed by law.
[3] New Citizens are automatically provided with a free property. The second property must be bought by the citizen for $100.
[4] Illegal Immigration to the country is not permitted, this includes traveling through airspace into the airport illegally, sailing to the private docks or tunneling to the country. If a user is caught illegally immigrating, they will be deported to the nearest unclaimed land area.
[5] Individuals that are not recognised by the Government of the Kingdom of Maharlika or aren’t in the user database will be taken to the airport inspection room and searched for any illegal items / weapons.
ENVIRONMENT AND LIVESTOCK
Environment Legislation
[1] Public parks, farms and forests are officially protected by the Government in order to conserve national wildlife and nature.
[2] Do not gather national materials (e.g. clay or sand) from the country’s terrain without authorization from a Government Official.
[3] Stripping tree bark or foliage from land is illegal without authorization from a Government Official.
[4] Trees that are cut down must be cut down in full, and a sapling must be replaced in its former position.
Livestock Legislation
[1] Animals cannot be killed without proper authorisation, unless you are a farmer.
[2] Animals that are killed must be rebred.
POLICING
[1] If a citizen commits a crime, they will be penalized according to the severity of the crime.
[2] Terrorism is highly illegal in Maharlika and its territories and will result in immediate exile from the Country.
[3] Killing Livestock intentionally will result in jail time.
[4] If a citizen witnesses a crime, they must report it to a Government Official.
[5] Threats of terrorism are highly prohibited in the Maharlika.
[6] If a crime is committed by a member of another nation on, or inside of Maharlika, they will be subject to punishment according to Maharlika law, and can be imprisoned or fined if need be.
TRAFFIC LEGISLATION
[1] Vehicles are not allowed to be parked randomly on the street for a prolonged amount of time.
[2] Driving outside of roads (onto grass or sidewalks) is highly illegal and dangerous.
[3] If you purposely drive recklessly (e.g - going at high speeds or going onto grass) you will not be insured. Instead try to learn driving before taking on more complex road systems.
[4] Aerial vehicles (such as helicopters or planes) may not be parked in places that aren't airports or helipads. However, they can land in restricted areas in case of emergency, but must be moved later.
[5] All traffic signs / road signs must be respected and prohibited / irregular turns on roads must not be made.
FIREARMS LEGISLATION
[1] Ownership of firearms must be authorized by THE Prime Minister or the King of Maharlika Specifically.
[2] Specific guns may not be allowed into the country or can only be used by military personnel. (To find out which guns are allowed and which are not, please follow the link at the bottom of this page)
[3] Using guns or weapons as a conduit of threatening an individual is highly ILLEGAL.
[4] Illegal possession of disallowed firearms is prohibited, and will be met with confiscation of such items and jail time.
[5] Using guns or weapons as an act of murder and not self defense is highly ILLEGAL and will be met with jail time.
